PowerPoint Plug-in

The CONTENTdm PowerPoint Plug-in enables quick and easy import of My Favorites, images as well as metadata, into Microsoft PowerPoint®. The PowerPoint presentation can then be edited and modified using the tools available in PowerPoint. You will need to have items saved to My Favorites. You will have separate My Favorites pages for each server URL. When you enter a URL into the PowerPoint Plug-in the program will retrieve the My Favorites for the URL you specified.

System Requirements for the ContentDM PowerPoint Plugin 4

Windows 2000 Professional, or XP
Microsoft PowerPoint 2000, XP, 2003 or greater.
A Cookies enabled Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or greater browser. FireFox, Mozilla, Netscape, Opera are currently not supported.

To use the CONTENTdm PowerPoint Plug-in

Download the Version 4 PowerPoint Plug-in.
Install the Plug-in on your PC by following the installation directions on the screen.
Create a new or locate existing DAC collection in My Favorites with Internet Explorer.
Open PowerPoint on your PC click on the "CONTENTdm" button that now appears in the PowerPoint interface.
Enter "http://digital.tcl.sc.edu" in the area for URL and click "Next". After importing is complete click "Finish"
The ContentDM PowerPoint Plugin currently only supports JPEG, GIF, and BMP files formats
